We are announcing the soft launch of two highly requested features: Service Accounts and API Keys for Namespace Auth. While these features are still in Pre-Release, we have published public documentation to help our SSU users start exploring and integrating them into their workflows.

New Features:

  1. Service Accounts:

    • Service accounts allow you to create and manage non-human user accounts that can interact with your Temporal namespaces securely.

    • Detailed documentation is now available, providing guidance on how to set up and use service accounts effectively.

  2. API Keys for Namespace Auth (also known as API Keys for Client Connections):

    • API keys provide a secure and straightforward method for authenticating client connections to specific namespaces.

    • This feature enhances security by ensuring that only authorized clients can interact with designated namespaces.

Documentation:

These enhancements are part of our ongoing commitment to improving security and ease of use for our users. We encourage you to review the documentation and provide feedback as we continue to refine these features.
