We’ve updated the UI for downloading JSON from event history. Previously, users had a single toggle to decode event history, which often caused confusion, especially with base64 encoding. Now, users have three options to choose from, providing more clarity and flexibility (see image 2). This change ensures that even if a Codec Server isn’t configured, users can still access the necessary options, accommodating various encoding scenarios. This update is available in both Temporal Cloud and OSS (v2.28.0).
