Are you new to Temporal Cloud and looking for training that demonstrates how to use it? Maybe you just signed up for our Temporal Cloud for Startups program and want to get a head start on how to use this service? Perhaps you’re not yet using Temporal Cloud, but want to see it in action. Maybe you’ve had a Temporal Cloud account for a while, but need a quick refresher on one of its features or want to help a new co-worker quickly learn the basics?
No matter which of these describes you, our new Introduction to Temporal Cloud course has you covered. Best of all, it’s available today and absolutely free!
What’s the format of this course?
Introduction to Temporal Cloud is an online training course, which uses a combination of video, graphics, and text, to explain and demonstrate the basics of Temporal Cloud. Most people tend to complete it in less than 45 minutes, but it's self-paced, so you can move through it as slowly—or as quickly—as you like.
What does this course cover?
The course begins by explaining the role of the Temporal Cloud service within the overall Temporal Platform and then builds on this by demonstrating how to navigate and use key features of the Temporal Cloud Web UI.
During this training, you will learn how to navigate the Temporal Cloud Web UI, create a Namespace, perform user management tasks, select appropriate roles and permissions, create a custom Search Attribute, define an endpoint for integration with a third-party observability tool, and view usage information.
Who should take this course?
While primarily designed for onboarding new users, the course will benefit anyone who wants to learn about Temporal Cloud.
We recommend that you have at least basic knowledge of the Temporal Platform, such as what you’d learn from one of our Temporal 101 courses, but no prior knowledge or experience with Temporal Cloud is required. You don’t need a Temporal Cloud account to participate in this training.
How do I get started?
Our Introduction to Temporal Cloud training is free and available today.
By the way, we released this course to select participants last week. Be sure to sign up for early access to our courses if you want to be among the first people to hear about the new training we develop.
